Over the years, the Circ Raluy has kept crowds of all ages highly entertained and has become somewhat of a Christmas tradition which carries on until March. This isn´t just an ordinary circus, it is also a travelling museum of old circus vans and has a circus hotel where guests can stay in circus carriages that have been converted into rooms. This year´s edition is aptly called “The Big Top” and has seating for up to 700 people. This is a great opportunity to take the kids to see an incredible spectacle. Ticket prices start from €8 for kids and €15 for adults, up to €20 for kids and €30 for adults depending on where you choose to sit. BARCELONA HALF MARATHON

If the Christmas holidays have left you with a few extra unwanted kilograms, here is your chance to shake them off! The Barcelona Half Marathon will be taking place on 15 February where an estimated 14000 runners will be taking place in one of the most popular half marathons in Europe. Starting time is at 08:45 near Arc de Triomf and this is also the finishing point for the race. To register for this marathon you will need to use a special chip. You can either get a disposable chip from the event organizers for €3 or you can bring your own. Registration costs €28 (assuming you don´t have your own chip) for the first 12,000 registrations, and €32,50 from 12,001 registrations. To register for this event visit the official website.
KATY PERRY CONCERT

Starting off in Ireland and going on to Scotland, England, USA, Canada, Mexico and Australia, Katy Perry will be performing in Barcelona on 15 February. The Prismatic Tour is her most successful to date and was the “best selling tour in the world” according to Pollstar. As you would expect, her show will have all the usual extravagant stage props, outfits, lighting and effects that have made her concerts so popular.
