CIRQUE DU SOLEIL
The world-famous Cirq du Soleil has returned to Barcelona and will be taking place until Sunday 29 December at the Palau Sant Jordi arena on Montjuic (nearest metro being Plaza España). This edition is called “Dralion” (Dragon) and features a unique and almost dream-like experience filled with acrobats, music and other talented artists.

For those who are feeling very spiritual around the Christmas season, you might be interested in the “Messiah” by the famous composer Händel. The performance will be taking place at the Basilica Santa Maria del Mar El Born neighborhood. This performance is very famous for the “Hallelujah” chorus and has been performed all over the world over many years. Tickets can be purchased here
VAN MORRISON CONCERT
Known most famously for his hit songs “Brown Eyed Girl” and “Days like this”, Van Morrison is known as “one of the most influential musicians of his generation” by Rolling Stone magazine. At the age of 68 Van Morrison (aka Belfast Cowboy since he´s Irish) is still doing his thing and entertaining fans with six Grammies behind his name. The last time he played in Barcelona was over 8 years ago and this Saturday he will be playing at the Gran Teatro del Liceu.
