INTERNATIONAL ELECTRIC VEHICLES SYMPOSIUM AND EXHIBITION
The EVS27 is the acronym for the 27th annual International Electric Vehicles Symposium, which transforms Barcelona into the capital for electric vehicles. Taking place at FIRA exhibition center, this event will start on Sunday 17 November and run until Thursday 21 November. During this time, experts in the industry will be promoting and discussing the latest technologies and developments of electric vehicles and how they form part of future transportation. The main focus of the event is for trade visitors, but there is an exhibition center which is open to the general public. More info on their website.
At the same time, the Smart Cities Expo World Congress is taking place from 19-21 November, which focuses on how we can make our cities better for the future in terms of how we work and live. More specifically it focuses on how to deal with challenges of CO2 emissions and how we can increase production from renewable sources. For more information see their website

If you´re a fan of Indie Rock, you will definitely be familiar with Arctic Monkeys. For those who are not familiar with them, these guys are one of the biggest and most famous bands from the U.K, having been formed in 2002. With hits such as “Fluorescent Adolescent”, “Mardy Bum”, “R U Mine”, “505” and “Brainstorm”, these guys started a sound of their own and its no wonder that their debut album became the fastest selling debut album in British music history.
They will be playing at Pavelló Olimpic on Saturday 16 November at 20.00 and tickets can be purchased here
TRADITIONAL BUDDHIST ART AND MEDITATION
During this week and until Sunday 17 November, you can visit the Fundación Casa del Tibet on Calle Roselló 181 for free traditional meditation and you will also have the chance to see traditional Tibetan Buddhist art.This experience promises to be something completely different from anything you´ve experienced before.
