COCKTAILS, BLUES, CAVA AND TIME-TRAVEL!
Situated on C/ Mallorca 196 is a cocktail bar that is quite unique from any other “cockteleria” in Barcelona. With very modern decor and chill-lounge music in the background, it´s perfect for having a relaxed conversation over a delicious cocktail.
What sets “Cooler Cockteleria” apart from other cocktail bars, is the fact that you can pretty much design your own cocktail, by asking the barmen to mix certain kinds of liquor and even ask for suggestions based on your taste!
“The Acoustic Blues Company” is playing on Sunday 27 January at Universal (Carrer de Marià Cubí, 182) from 22:00. With a great stage presence filled with good humor, and an abundance of young talent, they started making their music in 2005 with the intention of re-interpreting one of the most popular styles of music of the 20th century : Acoustic Blues!

The typical visit includes a guide explaining the history of the Cordoniu winery, a tour of the cellars on a small vehicle similar to a train, and the tasting of two different Cavas.

“A journey to the cradle of civilization” is an exhibition taking place the CaixaForum, that gives a very unique insight into the Mesopotamian culture that lived between 3500 and 2100 BC.
The exhibition features over 400 items from over 30 different museums and collections, that include art and crafts, ritual objects and jewellery.
Entrance is free of charge and opening times are Monday to Friday from 10.00am to 20.00pm. Weekend opening times are extended until 21.00PM. Guided tours cost 3 Euros per person and take place at 18.00 in the evenings, but ensure that you make reservations.
