MICHAEL JACKSON IMMORTAL TOUR AND ANTI-KARAOKE
MICHAEL JACKSON CIRQUE DU SOLEIL TOUR
Fans of Michael Jackson are in for a very special event, which is a collaboration of his music and the equally famous Cirque du Soleil!
Described as a “riveting fusion of visuals, dance, music and fantasy that immerses audiences in Michael´s creative world”, this spectacular show is aimed at lifelong fans of Jackson´s work, but also at those who are only experiencing his music for the first time.
The show takes the audience behind the eyes of Michael´s creativity, into his world where music, dance, magic and fairy tales were the source of his inspiration for immense creativity, and leave the audience with Michael´s message of peace, love and unity. All of this, mixed with the magic and wonder that had made Cirque du Soleil so popular, can only promise to deliver a magnificent show that will forever be remembered.
It is taking place at Palau Sant Jordi on Wednesday, and tickets can be purchased on their official website
Karaoke is something that is familiar to just about everyone. The name in Japanese literally means “empty orchestra”, and this fun (and usually embarrassing) activity is typically the same in every country.
ANTI-KARAOKE however, is something that will completely change everything you thought you knew about Karaoke. It is basically still Karaoke, although it features rock hits and an animated live audience of about 200 people who cheer on the singer and give the whole thing a real rock concert feel.
Being in it´s 8th year, it has become very popular in Barcelona and was created by Rachel Arieff – an American comic who hosts this event every Thursday, and who also sings a few songs herself.
It takes place at Sala Apolo from 21.30 until 01.00 and admission is €6.
