SEDUCED BY ART, BRIDAL WEEK BARCELONA and SEVILLE FAIR
If you don´t feel like going home after work, here are some suggestions of what to do in Barcelona this week!
“Seduced by art. Past and present of photography”: The exhibition includes the work of British and French photographers and other works of international contemporary artists (some of them never shown to the public before!). It takes place at CaixaForum (Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, 6-8) until May 19th and entry is free. The opening hours are from Monday to Friday from 10am to 8pm. Weekend and holidays from 10am to 9pm.
Bridal Week Barcelona: If you are a wedding planner or photographer, or involved professionally in any aspect of weddings, – you might want to visit the Barcelona Bridal Week. The event will take place at Fira Gran Via exhibition Centre – pavillion 8. From Tuesday 30th April to Friday 3rd May 2013 and you can visit the Pasarela Gaudí Novias, where international designers will show their creations. From 3rd May till 5th May you can visit El Salón Barcelona Bridal Week – Noviaespaña 2013. For more information check here. Please note that this event is only open to wedding professionals, but in September this year there will be another bridal event which is open to the public. We will keep you informed!
Seville Fair of Catalonia: From 26th April till 5th May is taking place the Seville fair of Catalonia. The 42nd edition of the event is held at Esplanada del Fòrum – El Parc del Fòrum (address Pl Fòrum, 1). During the fair, visitors will be able to participate in raffles to raise funds for the Food Bank. The performances will include Azaila, Brisas, Zaira and many others.
PS: Don´t forget that 1st May is a public holiday in Spain!
