VALENTINE´S DAY, KAISER CHIEFS and HALF-MARATHON
As everyone knows, this Friday is 14th of February, which means only one thing: Valentine´s Day! The day of the year that people globally dedicate to being especially romantic by sending flowers, chocolates, cards, teddy bears and anything else their loved one might appreciate. What better place to celebrate this than in Barcelona? We have posted an article on the past that shows some of the most romantic spots in the city. KAISER CHIEFS CONCERT
On Saturday you can catch the famous indie rock band from Britain, Kaiser Chiefs, at Sala Razzmatazz! They are hosting a performance in lieu of their upcoming album entitled “Education, Education, Education and War”. Primarily inspired by punk rock of the 70s and 80s, they have released four studio albums and many singles, one of which is the very famous “Ruby” The show is scheduled to start at 01h00 and tickets can be purchased from Ticketmaster
If you are a sports fanatic and enjoy marathons, this Sunday you can participate in the Half Marathon that starts at Passeig de Pujades near Arc de Triomf, and finishes at Passeig Lluis Companys. It kicks off at 08H45 and there are three differentiated starts, as well as 12 animation points for spectators. The weather forecast predicts sunny, yet cold weather, so if you plan on being a spectator, dress warm!
For participants, the price to take part is €24,50 with a yellow chip and €28 without a chip. This chip is required for all participants and more information on these chips and how to register can be found on the official website.
