X GAMES, MOTOR SHOW and MUSEUMS NIGHT
If you are a fan of Motocross, BMX, Skating or Rally, you will be aware of the X Games taking place in Barcelona from 16 – 19 May.
Regarded as the “The world’s greatest action sports competition”, the X Games will be taking place at the Montjuic Olympic Ring and tickets can be bought from the official website, starting from €16 and going up to €40 depending on your chosen seating.
Even if you are traditionally not a big sports fan, these X Games are truly fascinating to watch, as young athletes push not only their own physical limitations, but also that of gravity itself!

BARCELONA MOTOR SHOW
One of the most anticipated events in the automobile industry, attracting over 700 000 visitors during the 9 days, is the Barcelona Motor Show. This bi-annual event has been taking place since 1919, where motoring enthusiasts can get a first-hand look at the newest designs and technologies in the motor industry. Some of the highlights of the 2013 show are the new models from Nissan, which include the Juke, LEAF and Note. Audi will be presenting the new A3 and SEAT their Leon SC. The event takes place at the FIRA Barcelona and entrance is €12.
NIGHT OF MUSEUMS
Museums are such a vital part of any culture, and often time an activity which is overlooked by many people. If you´ve been living in Barcelona for a while and haven´t seen most of the museums, this weekend you will be able to visit of 50 of them from 19.00 on Saturday until 01.00 in the morning. And the best part is that it will be completely free of charge! The program includes poetry readings, conferences, concerts and performances. This event is quite popular however, so don’t miss out.
